  • Google account information (when using Google authentication)
  • Slack integration data (Slack workspace ID, Slack user ID) — when using Slack integration

Training Data

  • Cognitive performance test results (various scores)
  • Condition input data (self-reported information such as sleep duration, caffeine intake, etc.)
  • Quick notes (optional content entered by the user)

Usage Data

  • Access logs (IP address, browser information, access date and time)
  • Service usage patterns

2. How We Use Information

Collected information is used for the following purposes:

  • Saving and displaying training results
  • Providing personalized improvement recommendations
  • Analysis for service improvements and feature additions
  • Responding to user support inquiries
  • Ensuring service security (preventing unauthorized use)

3. Information Sharing

User personal information will not be shared with third parties except in the following cases:

  • With the user's consent
  • When required by law for disclosure
  • Sharing with service providers necessary for operating the Service (such as Supabase for infrastructure)
  • Minimal API communication with Slack Technologies, LLC (Salesforce, Inc.) for Slack integration features

Anonymized and aggregated data may be used for service improvement and research purposes.

4. Cookie Usage

The Service uses cookies for the following purposes:

  • Maintaining authentication state (login sessions)
  • Storing user preferences (language settings, etc.)

You can disable cookies through your browser settings, but some features may not function properly.

5. Data Storage and Protection

  • Data is stored on Supabase's secure infrastructure
  • Communications are encrypted with SSL/TLS
  • Access permissions are set to the minimum necessary to prevent unauthorized access

6. User Rights

Users have the following rights:

  • Data Access: You can view your own training data
  • Account Deletion: If you wish to delete your account, please contact us. Related data will also be deleted
  • Information Correction: If you need to correct your registered information, please use the settings page or contact us

7. Slack Integration Data Handling

When using the Slack integration feature, we collect and store the following information:

Information We Collect

  • Slack workspace ID and workspace name
  • Slack user ID
  • Bot token (for sending reminders)

Purpose of Use

  • To send reminder DMs at your specified time
  • To send test result notifications via Slack DM

Information We Do NOT Collect

  • We never read Slack message content or channel information
  • We do not store Slack profile information

You can disconnect Slack integration at any time from the CortexLab Settings page. Upon disconnection, all Slack-related data is deleted.

8. Use by Minors

Please use the Service with parental consent. We do not intentionally collect information from children under 13 years of age.

9. Changes to This Policy

This policy may be updated due to changes in laws or service improvements. Users will be notified within the Service of significant changes.
